Angoor Ki Dhal

Prep: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Serves: 4-6

Ingredients:

  • 300 ml coconut milk
  • 150g red lentils
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • Salt to taste
  • 350g breadcrumbs
  • 150g flour
  • 150ml water

Instructions:

  1. Wash & soak lentils for 30 mins, drain excess water.
  2. Heat oil, add mustard & cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chili powder + turmeric, fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add lentils with coconut milk, cover, and cook for 20-25 mins until lentils are done.
  4. Add grapes, mix, and turn off heat. Serve hot with rice or naan.
